In consideration of Ski Maxx LLC., making available to me for use and permitting me to use the revolving carpeted SKI MACHINE (Hereinafter "Ski Machine") owned and operated by Ski Maxx LLC., all - adults and minors - shall acknowledge the following:
Snow skiing, snowboarding, and sledding (collectively "Skiing" going forward) are hazardous sports carrying significant risk of personal injury and that use of the Ski Machine and lessons and practice conducted thereon is subject to all of the risks associated with snow skiing, snowboarding and sledding and those additional risks resulting from the use of the Ski Machine.
All skiers, snowboarders, sledders, and observers (collectively, "Skiers") are required to sign an Agreement and Liability Release Wavier, or use of equipment is not approved. [For further details or to review the Agreement and Liability Waiver ahead of time, please see Agreement and Liability tab, linked at the bottom of this page.]
Per insurance requirements, all head injuries (both on and off the machine), at discretion of Ski Maxx, will require a 911 call with potential ambulance ride at the cost of the Skier. The use of helmets is optional for participation in activities on the Ski Machine. While helmets may reduce or mitigate the severity of some head injuries, their use does not guarantee safety and will not prevent certain injuries. Agreement to this policy is required, or use of equipment is not approved.
Please note that lessons may involve the physical touch of instructor to skier to ensure proper form and mitigate injury. If this is uncomfortable for you (or your minor), please coordinate directly with your instructor on alternative teaching methods.
Use of Social Media is a valuable promotional tool, but we understand if you (or your minor) prefer to opt out. Please coordinate with Ski Maxx directly on Social Media approval forms.
At no time shall unsupervised adults or children be around the Ski Machine. Should siblings come to watch, learn, and enjoy the time with family, they MUST be accompanied by an adult. Skiers are not to be dropped off under the age of 18 (16 if able to drive themselves with the consent of an adult) for a lesson - adults are to remain present at all times on Ski Maxx property.
Schedules will be final 2 days before scheduled lesson - skiers are responsible for payment at booked time of service, regardless of no-show, without prior consent from Ski Maxx. All sales are final upon completion.
